You may have a recent Degree, or real-world experience – either way you will be ambitious and keen to learn and develop into a well-rounded B2B Marketer. You will be a team player, have an eye for visual details, be highly organised, able to plan for and project manage many different activities simultaneously.

The successful applicant will be highly collaborative, yet able to work on your own initiative and enjoy a fast-paced, agile working environment. You will be keen to develop your skills in B2B marketing, results-driven and would relish the opportunity to play a central role in our growing agency. You will report to the Head of Strategic Communications.

You will also be a natural with words, not a pure copy-writer but someone who pays attention to tone of voice, has an eye for detail and can write clean and impactful messaging and communications. The successful applicant will be highly organised, able to plan for and project manage many different forms of content creation all the way from initial client briefing through to final creative delivery.

Summary of the role

Working for our Head of Strategic Communications, you will gain a huge breath and depth of communications experience, managing projects all the way from developing customer insights, to publishing live content through social media channels.   

You will have the opportunity to gather customer and competitor insights, interview real-life customers, creating Buyer Personas, giving you an in depth appreciate for buyers needs and how these adapt and change from sector to sector and across different job functions.

You will then take that insight and start to develop customer led messaging which will feed your exciting content plans, aligned to the buying journey. 

You will manage organic social media accounts on behalf of our clients, creating content both written & visual to fill an engaging editorial calendar, using the latest social media management tools like Sprout Social, presenting results to and sharing your ideas with our clients.

You will be involved in everything from ads and digital content, video and animation, to blogs and sales enablement materials. Whilst not a designer yourself, you will have a creative mind and an eye for layouts and visual appeal.

As our in-house content specialist, you will also create content assets for our other Seeblue Practice areas including Account Based Marketing and Digital and there is huge scope to learn about these areas of marketing whilst in-role.

As the role is remote, you will be a self-starter and confident enough to reach out to the team when you need support and to present to our clients. You will be articulate and passionate about delivering results.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Be the client lead on projects that you own
  • Organic Social media account management & editorial
  • Content strategy and planning, based on lifecycle stages
  • Creation of messaging frameworks, hooks and copy writing
  • Conduct customer interviews and develop audience insights / personas
  • Writing detailed and compelling content briefs
  • Project Managing content creation on-time and to budget, proactively managing feedback and quality checking processes (QA)
  • Manage resources/virtual teams as needed to deliver against the defined plan
  • Keep on top of new market developments in the content marketing space and opportunities for our clients to take advantage of.
  • Play an active role in account development, expansion and promotion of the Seeblue Marketing brand through social media, videos and events.

Skills & Experience

  • Either a Degree or 1-2 years’ work experience ideally in a marketing role
  • Strong English Language skills, able to deliver high quality and accurate copy
  • Able to manage virtual project teams to a project plan
  • Ideally you will have an understanding of core B2B marketing principles and buying journey
  • Strong visual communication and presentation skills
  • Can interpret complex subjects and turn them into engaging, exciting content
  • Driven to succeed and deliver great work
  • Comfortable working on a number of different projects at once

Qualification and Educational requirements

  • Educated to degree level, or has relevant work experience 
  • CIM qualification an advantage

  • £20-25K (depending on experience)
  • Role reports directly into Head of Strategic Communications
  • Home based with up to 2 days per week team time in the office (less if you live further afield)
